Does overthinking burn calories? My thoughts exhaust me. They wear me down. I count my blessings that my thoughts are not noxious. I am not weighed down by depressive thoughts nor am I frantic with anxious thoughts. It’s just me trying to make sense of the world. I defer my sensemaking to various political pundits. Pundits that are not pretending to be non-partisan and who encourage their viewers to get perspectives from the other side of the aisle also. A good pundit will present the facts, explain them and then separately express their opinions. I try to explore pundits on both sides of the aisle because I do prefer a full-bodied opinion. I have not found any good sources that represent the left. Like at all. They present opinions as facts. They all bake the same hate cake according to the same recipe to feed people with DTS. People with DTS are buying the exact same victimhood that Hitler sold Germany. Anyway, Daisy Cousens is my #1 but somebody that also I really value is Charlie Kirk. He’s young, bright and he brings up political philosophy a lot on his podcast. He does understand the value of liberals, how we need them. We need a left-wing and a right-wing to fly after all. However, the left was high hijacked by trained Marxists. This must have been started a long time ago as people are too brainwashed to process facts. Their cognitive dissonance only allows them to react, not to think. I can present them with footage of the BLM leader stating that they are trained Marxists. Literally, she pushed air out of her lungs, wagged her own tongue and flapped her own lips to produce words that state that they are trained Marxists. The vibrations that she created from her body is then vibrated through the air, are collected by our eardrum and cells and sent through a nervous system to your brain for processing. Then somehow it is not received to the left. Facts tell them nothing. At all. Ever. A normal person will have the ability to change their mind if they are presented with data that is better represented as reality. Not the leftists. There are liberals out there, real ones. But the leftists trying to make everybody live in submission to their ideologies? They’ve been hijacked somehow. They honestly believe that they are the chosen woke ones.
Every philosopher is just a product of their time. They were just making sense of what they were witnessing. I don’t want to declare myself a philosopher but I am a product of my time and I am just trying to make sense of what I am witnessing. What I am witnessing is a huge group of people being unable to synthesize a thought of their own. They only want to represent what they are taught. I could replace one leftist with another and they will just say the same thing. That is disturbing. That is scary. I used to had those same thoughts, I had that groupthink. I red-pilled.
Another pundit I like is Ben Shapiro. In debates, he seems heartless. He is not a man who lacks empathy. I also feel some type of way whenever I express various opinions because I know that they are going to make someone uncomfortable. Ben knows that he has to turn off his empathy in a debate because people have a tendency to hijack emotions to manipulate your sensemaking. He’s also aware of how to debate his opposition in general. That is why in a debate setting, as an example, regarding transgenderism with someone who is transgender Ben will not use their preferred pronoun because he knows that if he complies that means he already lost the debate. Outside of a debate setting, with his friends who do have gender dysphoria, he has no problem using their preferred pronouns. I used to have the groupthink and I thought that Ben was satan incarnate for not agreeing with me. However, it often weirds me out to see Ben on his show just be so personable. In general, we all need to lighten up when we talk about politics. Fiscal or social. He’s not that serious when he’s just by himself shooting the shit. Do I agree with everything he says? That doesn’t matter. That should not matter. That is not the point. We need to have space for disagreements and to hear another viewpoint.
The only way I can stop my mind from racing is to talk about it. To write it down. If I had half a nerve I would create a YouTube channel and vlog it out. I could take some creative writing courses and write for someone. Well, write for myself. I don’t want a boss. This would just be a hobby. Not a career. I wouldn’t expect my channel to get monetized as I do not have the groupthink and that violates their communist standards. I started to watch a series on YT that was talking about how media uses political rhetoric in a similar way that casinos use VLT’s to get you addicted. That was taken down for hate speech. The fact that it was removed from the public on a public forum disturbs me. I also understood their point, the series I mean. CNN just posted an article about why black babies are less likely to survive if they have white doctors. They also call black on black crime a dangerous myth. This is just fueling political rhetoric. These are strange times.
I’m just rambling right now so I can air out my head. My withdrawals from my meds might be at play here. My struggle with falling asleep I mean. This mind I’m unable to control. My dizzy spells are almost all gone at least. I’m now experiencing some nausea. It’s affecting my ability to get food down. It’s been two weeks now? Not with nausea, that’s only been two days. It’s been two weeks since I recklessly gave up on my medication. Free healthcare is so good a suppressing innovation that my country, during a global pandemic, is still using fax machines. My pharmacist was struggling to get my doctors office to send a fax to refill my prescription. I just gave up. I was watching a montage of some girl on a reality show that had no filter when it came to speaking her mind. She had zero interest in making people like her because she recognized that it is her job to like her. She said something about the world that anybody who has done shadow work would have thought. She compared a moment with another contestant on the show to social welfare. This is not welfare, I don’t owe you anything just because you suck at life. Yes, I know I’m a bitch. I’ve let go of my self-entitlement and victimhood and have accepted my personal responsibilities, as in my ability to respond and I see her point now. I did not see it before when I had the groupthink. I do not want to lose my empathy, I want people to empower themselves but I do not have that responsibility. Karma means doing. Life is your own doing. Life responds to your choices. Social programs like welfare are for people who need them between A and B. It’s not a career. I know 7 women who have made it a career. Social assistance is for people who can’t work. It is not going to be the same size of the income as someone who can work. Unless, maybe, you’ve paid your dues and earned it. In my opinion. My single mother used it while she went to school so that she could give her four children a better life by getting a career. Her friends just kept popping kids out to stay on social welfare. I don’t know how this entry came to this. I just haven’t fully explored my thoughts on this. What is your take? I’m going to go eat… maybe. I’m fasting for most of the day. Our bodies It’s remarkable what an amazing job the body can do at healing itself if you just get out of the way.
