chiropractic magic in keeping it postive

For about five months I've had pain and stiffness in my left shoulder. I'd thought about going to the chiropractor, but kept putting it off. My regular doctor suggested getting an MRI before seeing anyone - chiropractor or acupuncturist.
I finally had just too much pain, so went to the doctor on Friday. He pummeled it with various machines after heating it under a heating pad of sorts. He tried to manipulate it, but no going. He did work on my neck a little.
He thought I'd regret the rough work he'd done, but NOOOO! It didn't feel so bad, and there was a little more range of motion when he was done. By the time I got back home, the pain had subsided considerably. It's still stiff, and I'm not able to move my arm completely, so I'll be back.
Being able to sleep more comfortably? Priceless
