Debatable in Current Events

I’m feeling a little sensitive today, emotionally speaking. My pharmacist has yet to get a hold of my doctor’s office. Something I am also struggling with. I’m thinking about just giving up and quitting my anti-anxiety meds cold turkey. This is a gamble as this could be dangerous to do without supervision. I’m at the dizzy and numb fingers stage of the withdrawal. I’m waking up multiple times throughout the night as well. Other than that I actually had energy today. I cleaned the whole house I got so restless. I felt like my old self doing that. Also, there was always that 1% of me that felt like I had lead in my head when I was on those meds. I don’t miss that. I’m just trying to put a positive spin on this as this appears to be hopeless.

My one month anniversary of my return to social media has passed. I only returned so that I could have some nuanced dialogue with politics. That was naive of me. Name-calling appears to be a legitimate intellectual form of disagreement with those people. Everybody thinks that they’re the chosen woke ones. Myself included. I’m not any better regarding that complex. I only tuned into politics a couple of months ago when I went to try and represent my political opinions as a lefty and failed. Data does not support most leftist political arguments after all. I have been accepting opinions as facts my whole life. Oops. Luckily I am evolved enough to… change my mind. I am getting used to having to explain my viewpoints as a conservative now so I’m getting better at debates. Leftists don’t seem to think that their ideas should even be up for debate because they are on… “the moral high ground”. They can’t put together a decent argument so they try to silence you with intimidation by attacking your character and your morality. I have witnessed some actual nuanced dialogue between liberals and conservatives though. Awkwardly enough, the hosts of the Young Turks but NOT on their channel. That channel is pure propaganda through and through. You don’t even have to try hard to debunk it they are so lazy at it. However, the hosts in debates at Politicon are brilliant. That is the only time when the left makes sense. That is when I am okay with agreeing to disagree because they can map out why they believe what they believe in a way that makes sense to me. I just don’t want what they’re selling.

I do like the relationship between liberals and conservatives. Liberals break down old systems and then conservatives clean that up. However, Vishnu needs to come and restore dharma. That pendulum is broken. You can trace back to when the left won the culture war and that is when Caitlyn Jenner won woman of the year. No T no shade no pink lemonade. Then the left went into culture shock when conservatives elected Trump. Modern leftism is based on theoretically postmodern concepts that are cooked up in the humanity departments in universities everywhere and are filtered through popular culture and because they have remained unchallenged in the public arena for such a long time these theories have now been presented as facts. The cultural challenge from conservatives is literally being compared to violence and fascism.

Literally, for shits and giggles, I am studying how to thrash leftists. I am ordering Ben Shapiro’s little book on how to do it. I already know the basics.
1) Know your facts. Inside and out. Dates, numbers, stats and sources. Not that facts tell leftists anything. Which brings me to the next point.
2) Do not debate them in private. Their minds do not change. The ones you sway are the ones who are watching or reading the interaction.
3) Remove the moral high ground. Do not defend your morality. You have to go in quick and fast and use this tactic against them. Embrace being the supervillain in their imaginary hero story. List back their personal attacks (transphobe, sexists, nazi etc and their moral ultimatums) and explain why those are not a form of argument.
4) Do not interrupt. If you are open about any conservative values that you may have then you should be used to defending your position so justification should come naturally. You already have the upper hand as leftists do not know to synthesize an opinion on their own. You can replace one with the other and they will just say the same thing. They will try to intimidate you and interrupt you but you can hit them with a “I let you speak” which usually does work. They will try to shift the goalposts and change the topic once they are losing, do not let them. Keep asking them questions to make them explain why they believe what they believe. If it is an online interaction they will literally fall off the face of the flat earth.
5) Don’t get angry. They play on emotions. They want a rise out of you so that they can be the victim in the interaction. These are narcissists, do not get emotional. Make light of the conservation if possible. As narcissists, they will maintain double standards so stay classy. It can be overwhelming, that level of vitriol coming somebody up in your face can be very unsettling because it is not actually socially acceptable to behave that way but once you feel that vitriol bluster you will see that it is just hot air. They have no substance, basis or facts. They were just trying to intimidate you to make you shut up. That is why they attack your character, intelligence and morality. Do not react. Put on a good show, we have a culture war to win.

I am getting frustrated though. On social media so I have been trying to find balance as I tend to get hooked. I’m apparently a conspiracy theorist when I say that the protests are not peaceful. I’m just spewing alt-right rhetoric when I show them footage of the BLM leaders themselves explaining that they are trained Marxists. Literally these people believe that Trump is the new Hitler. They are in for a rude awakening if we let communism win. They need only look at China right now to see how lucky they have it. That is what Trump is protecting Americans from. I kind of like freedom and shit. Private wealth, free markets, small government. Socialism does not work. It has never worked. It will never work. People are not perfectible. Neo-marxism is dangerous. It’s Trump or socialism. Lest we forget that Nazis were a socialist party. Hitler gave a group of people who were poor and looked down on some pride, identity and someone to blame. Life is not fair and not everybody that is failing is a victim and not everybody at the bottom truly wants to rise. They just amplify their pain to justify why the world is so cruel to them and now we seem to be projecting everything ugly about the world on Trump. Like Biden winning an election is cure the world of racism, sexism, homophobia blah blah. It would only stop being reported. BLM expires on November 4th until the next election cycle.
