Furnature shopping in Bittersweet

We want something that feels grown up for once. Kinda fancy and put together. So we are going to buy a bedroom set. I know its an indulgence and something we dont have to have. T is getting a refund check from the extended warrenty on his previous car. So we will have some cash that isnt slotted for something else. Unless we do debt. We technically dont have to buy anything yet. But it would be nice… We could always just pay off a small credit card and the dogs care credit.
I know that is the logical thing to do… My mom said we could take her couch and then the futon is ours, so we would have seating to start so we dont HAVE to buy a couch either. But it just seems like we are buying a brand new house. Wouldent it be awesome if everything went together! The walls are a pale grey, the floors are a grey wood. The furniture i picked is all creams and greys.

But it would be 2K for a couch, loveseat, bed frame and 2 end tables. So can we justify it or not is the real question. We WANT it. But we could use my moms couch ( dark brown) and the futon ( black) And the 5 bookshelves shes giving us. Just put the bed on the floor like we have been. Its fine. Its just not as nice as i want. Im just being picky and selfish i know by wanting those things…
