The Chase! in The Awesome Chronicles of me.

So, as people might or might not know I love game shows, I love trivia game shows, but game shows in general. One that I discovered on GSN is one called the chase, which was an American Adaptation of a british show, you answer questions in a cash builder (5k per right answer) then you go up against “the beast” to bank your cash, and after that you and any team members go up against “the beast” in a final chase and if your group answers all questions (each get 2 minutes) you win a split of the banked money. if “the beast” misses one in the final chase you get a chance for a pushback and if you answer correctly you push him back. Its a fun show and, it was only on for like 60 episodes from 2014-16 i think..

The other day I saw on a game show blog i stumbled upon that they were redoing it on ABC and they were looking for people and for a lark I signed up. Today I got a call and they are gonna do an interview with me and a test (via zoom.. ugh something ive never used) next thursday! Holy carp. I have to look decent. (thats gonna be hard cause i am always a derp, and my house is on the darker side NGL, so i am gonna test it with someone I hope) and on wednesday i’m gonna trivia up look for things i’m weak in (lit, music, science) I dont even know where to begin! (Help there would be great)

And from what i hear, the people they want to bring in for the american quiz geniuses are the jeopardy ultimate champions. whoo boy.

Any trivia advice will be welcome. Especially in lit, music, science.. I’m fairly strong in history, sports, geography, pop culture.. etc.

But possibly good news in my blargh life for once.
