The Earth isn't mine in Poetry

When they speak
You believe their
Web of deception
And you’re tangled
In a fabricated illusion
Trapped like a fly
Unable to tell time

Zero gravity
Lifts my skin
To an alternative reality
I’m in between
The lines sin
Love and hate
Divide within
As I struggle
To become whole again

I’ve killed myself
Several times
It’s not easy
To transform your mind
When you’re bound
To the glass
That cracks and shatters
Carving lines
Staying in place
So you don’t reach the other side

I’m sorry
That you cannot hear my cries
Because the dog or wolf
Devours you alive
What is it that you whisper?
I don’t understand your egotistical design
You use authoritative abuse
To conquer minds
I let that go
When I declared
The Earth isn’t mine
