cause it's all I'm doing today in Second 1st

So now that I’ve done the game story part let me tell you about what happened.... Monday.

Monday we had plans to play from 12-8. I expected that well people would use logic and eat before we started playing.... then maybe we’d take a break and have something around 4:-4:30.... so Rocky and I ran over to Cook Outs and got something. Because the lobby is still not open we went ahead and went to T’s. He was shocked we were eating as he’d planned on taking a break at like 1-1:30???? WTF that makes no sense..... but apparently that’s what we are doing from now on. He says he told us but neither me or Rocky recall that simple fact. Whatever, he swore up and down that the KFC buffet was open so we drove out there.... 20 mins when we could have just grabber Firehouse 2 mins away.... whatever… Rocky and I both saw it as a ton of wasted time as we ended up going to CiCi’s because KFC was “closed for maintenance”..... honestly I don’t think it’s open yet from COVID but whatever. At CiCi’s both T and Luke were kinda complainy and ate like 3 slices each.... it made me self conscious and I ate 4 and a salad.... Rocky ate as usual with like 10 slices.... mind you this is not normal pizza.... it’s CiCi’s so it’s thinner with less stuff on it and smaller.... I mean 3 slices is like 1 1/2 of a normal Pizza from anywhere else.

While eating T told us that we would be getting ëxtra” experience in game for choosing the right quest first. (which at this point we had just done).

A couple times during game play I’d seen Luke and T exchange glances.... a knowing smile on both of them. I want to say I’d been unfairly attacked a couple times BUT.... everyone else died too.... I think he just made the first quest too hard.... and apparently he does not know how to scale back anything.

Tori wasn’t there because she spent some time with her father for fathers day.... Monday afternoon.... understandable.... but T had said he was thinking about kicking her for behavior like that.... ?? …???

When we were getting ready to leave he asked what we would want to do on Tuesdays. Rocky (finally) said he’d really like to come up and learn some about Mastering a game. To which T said “Well tomorrow I’m going to my mom’s house to mow the lawn and help her out with some things”..... Rocky gets the feeling that he doesn’t really want to teach him at all.

After that it’s all texts for a moment so I’m going to go word for word here....

Monday 9:25 after game was over
T: Thanks guys for a kick ass game session tonight. Can’t wait until next week.
Luke: It was a great session! Definitely can’t wait to figure out how to get this rock out of the damn hole.
T: I think it was one of the best sessions I’have had in years.

T: If we want to think about a second game Tuesdays other than the gurps. Let’s toss out ideas for a system/genre and see if anything sounds good to everyone.

Luke: I did say last night I wouldn’t mind bringing magic and we all play a few games before or after a DND session or even as another day.
T: Honestly I have no interest in it. Never have been big into card games. If you guys want to have a card night at Rocky and Jens, please do. I assure you I will not be insulted in the slightest.

Me: We have a few here I’d like to play too… I’d be glad to bring something random off the shelf.

I had dinner with Shelby that after noon. Rocky stayed home because I knew she was going to talk about the fight they had had on Sunday. She told me how there was nothing too odd about the letter but that he didn’t need to be going to her work to talk to her. She doesn’t want anything to do with him. She also told me the reason it’s so dramatic is because the breakup was spurred by random physical abuse. That he had pretty much so been blaming her for every bad thing ever and hitting her for it. This is not the way you guys. That is not what BDSM is about. You don’t just beat someone. Things are talked about and consented there is no random abuse.... there are safe words for when someone thinks the other is going to far.... she said that it had not been talked about and was not something she wanted. NOW it felt like this nice little letter dropped off at work instead of a nice gesture it felt like stalking and made her uncomfortable. I found all that completely understandable.

She asked if I would let the group know to please start a second group chat. She’d blocked T and was getting all the other messages in chat. Also, she told me T hated board games. LOL “what do ya’ll wanna play” Oh, not even the same realm … “I don’t wanna do that”..... The chat above isn’t abnormal right.... except it feels impatient to me. He asked on Tuesday .... though he said he would be helping his mom out … what we wanted to do next week and in 7 hours decided on his own that we weren’t doing anything because no one had responded. BTW during those last couple hours I’d told Rocky to mention DM training in the chat so that he would have to turn him down publicly.... and he wouldn’t.... if you didn’t notice Rocky has said nothing in group texts so far..... (which is all that’s saving him really.... ) Also. I put it here cause it’s kinda funny that Shelby was getting that chat without T in it.

Thursday 5:19 am I’d forgotten to mention it to anyone else and I’d honestly forgot so.... I made a group text without Shelby and…
Me: Starting a new group text. One that does not include “The one who shall not be named.” When I gave her her dice bag she requested that we do this because she’s still getting messages from the chat. None of T’s but all the responses. Sorry so early, didn’t want to forget to do it. Please do the group chat here thanks.

Me: Thought it would just be easier to make one. It’s the same thing ya know. Either way it’s fixed.

I still don’t get why it’s “Not so much” the same other than I didn’t run it by him first?.... now it’s not the chat he made? again that would not matter seriously.

T: Is there any interest in a Tuesday GURPs?
Me: In the 2 games we played I was not fond of it. What setting would we play in?
T: I was just seeing if anyone wanted the second game before hammering out any details. Probably anything but D&D type fantasy.
Me: Another friend of mine is talking about starting a game soon. I”d honestly like to keep my options open for game times. Monday is great but until I know I would not like to join another game.
T: What about anyone else? Please let me know
Tori: Same for on the topic of another game I think one is enough especially for how long the campaigns actually are
T: If your öther friend” is Shelby you can just say that.
Me: LOL I have other friends
T: I don’t doubt that

Me: Cool buddy. You know I actually have friends that play D&D oddly enough that are also into the BDSM stuff so if I ever mention either I’ll be talking about Shelby? Cool.

Me: You basically just called me a liar. So can’t help but be a tad offended. Just thought I’d get that out there before I was accused some other time.
T: I didn’t call you a liar. If I think you are I will say so.
T: I think it is best since you have all these other friends you just go play with them.

Me: So now I cant play your game and have other friends?

Me: I do not currently have anything aside D&D at your place scheduled on Monday. As I have said I have no intention of scheduling anything else on Mondays.

I know the things I see are not direct. 2+2 usually make 4..... we know they always make four so if I make a statement to the contrary I’m a liar- that’s what that means. That’s what I got out of it. Yes Shelby asked me to be in her game .... yes, Krystal plays.... Yes I have other friends.... I saw that he called me a liar.... so did Tori.... Rocky did too and didn’t say anything. Honestly, I’m a little hurt he didn’t .... like it was so obvious when he did it.

We will play on Monday. I can go and not talk to him outside game chat. When we go to eat I will suggest Firehouse and Rocky and I will go there even if Luke and T do not. I’ll have Rocky tell him to text when they are back at the apartment and we will return. When the game is over I will pack up my stuff and leave without saying anything. I know I talk but I can do it. I feel no need to respond to questions he may have.... unless he’s apologizing it’s not worth it.

Rocky and I are going to be rolling out 5e characters in hopes of being in a new campaign. Rocky is talking about dropping T just because of the dangling carrot of teaching him stuff.
