Tile in Bittersweet

So now that we are under contract. Im looking at upgrade options. Sure the house is freshly remodeled. But they put in white cabinets. So i can paint them. Im thinking uppers cream and lowers grey? Then some back splash options!! ( prepare for the links!!)

Kid bathroom options, They picked some. Im thinking under and around the mirror for some color.

And then this for in the kitchen, once the cabinets are grey and cream. the floors are a greyish brown wood and the walls are a warm grey.

I havent picked for my bathroom. The house has the same floors throughout, same wall paint and same cabinets and counters in all rooms.
Maybe something like this? But the other direction so it looks like scales.
