Two of Swords reversed in Weight Loss Surgery

My card of the day is the two of swords reversed. It shows a someone blindfolded, sitting in a chair, alone, under the new moon. Behind them is grass, water, rocks, mountains, etc. In their hands are two long swords crossed over their chest.

Twos are about balance I believe and swords are about thoughts. Nothing looks very comfortable about this picture. The chair doesn’t look plush, the swords are so long they must be heavy.

My thoughts have been a little haywire recently… but I got this card in reverse so maybe I can put the swords down and gain more balance in my thoughts?

The book says this card is definitely about intuition. And in my gut I do believe (like I usually do) that everything is going to be fine. We;re going to get this surgery, it’s not going to break the bank, and we’re going to be happier in the future because of it.
I shouldn’t let his pesimistic outlook sway me from my gut feelings.

I get the whole “fear of the unknown” thing. And we’ve all made decisions that didn’t work out for the best that chips away at our confidence in making the right decision. But I wish he wouldn’t sit in that place, bringing himself (and me) down all the time.

I alone have to keep the faith even in most situations.

But oh well, you know, I guess that’s how we balance each other out. When I start believing his way obviously I’m thrown out of wack.
