New arrival! in A small but passable life.

I ordered the new guitar on the 24th. On the 25th a gentleman from Sweetwater named Corey called and said the guitar had been shipped and was on its way and that if I had any questions his number was in the email he had sent and to call anytime. I don’t think you’d get that service from Amazon.

I had tracked the package across the US. From OH to IN to AR to TX to NM to AZ. Crazy. It finally arrived yesterday about noon.

For being the least expensive guitar/amp combo they sell it looks and feels pretty legit to me. It sounds nice too. I can only remember three cords- C, G, and E.

I never had an electric guitar before. There are a lot of dials and settings to experiment with.

I registered for the three months of free lessons. I chose “rock” instead of “blues” but it says I can switch back and forth without losing my place in either one.

Yesterday was our first 110 degree day of the year at 111 degrees. Just missed tying the record of 112 for that date. It is supposed to “cool off” to 106 today. It was 90 this morning at 8am.

And the swimming pool is still closed. Assholes.
