Vacation Is Over, Buttercup in meh...

As of yesterday and follow up call today, this lady is going back to work on Monday. My son received some news that perhaps within the next two weeks he will be resuming his work schedule.

Well, at least all my clothes are clean. LOL

Problem comes from trying to figure out what to do with the kid. My daughter was scouting our availability because now that she’s closer to me, she wants to take on another job and is looking for supplemental daycare. No ma’am. I love you and will help as much as I can, but I have practically raised your oldest since he was born. I’m getting older. We are not going to business as usual. Soon as he told me, I sent her a text about his work schedule.

If push comes to shove, kiddo can come to work with me until she figures out their daycare situation. Or until everyone returns to work. We will see how this plays out.

In other news, I went to my mom’s appointment with her. The doctor took her dressing off and she was cutting dead flesh and skin off of my mother’s leg. It was kind of gross, even though I wasn’t sitting in a space where I could see what she was doing. As long as mom wasn’t in pain, I was fine. I turned my phone on silent and started texting my brother. I forgot all about her other leg that was having pain and forgot to ask about it.

She has another appointment in two weeks, but since I’ll be back at work, I can’t go. Far be it from me to take a vacation day right after being off work for 2 months. LOL I’m not above it, let’s get that straight though.

Anyway, things are crazy. Life is complicated, but I choose it over anything else.

That’s my update. Going to watch The Last Dragon tonight and possibly Glass. I don’t have any wine to drink so I just might. Lol
