The security system at home has been upgraded, with the addition of surveillance cameras. I love the fact that we can check in on the animals when we are out, and the pet-sitter knows they are being monitored when we are away. Plus the whole system interfaces with our new Droid Ultras, so we can control locks, thermostats, lights, and plumbing, as well as view the cameras.
I'm also impressed by the night-vision qualities of the cameras. Last night I could watch a possum crossing the lawn, and deer grazing in the pastures.
The dogs have been warned that their mischief is now subject to evidence, so that innocent look won't always cut it.

I need a system like that . Last night one of my cats knocked the top off my baby tortoise cage! I think I know the culprit already :-)

I suspect however the dogs will still continue to get away with whatever past shenanigans they've been committing. I recall pictures of your place from OD, actually I'm kind of surprised that you didn't have a system like that installed earlier.
