It’s cold outside. The kid is snoring. My sleep was broken last night. Officially woke up around 7a today. I don’t like going outside, but I have to. I have to get a money order, I have to pay my electric bill, I have to pay my phone bill (but I can do that online), and I have to get groceries.

If I can, I want to wait until Monday to get groceries. Even with this lockdown in place, people are still doing store rushes on Saturday mornings. I don’t want to go to the store I’ve been going to. Mainly because I don’t like their pizza rolls. LOL but they don’t have non meat options. I never go to Whole Foods or Trader Joes because I’m not single and I’m not wealthy. I can’t afford to feed my household on a meager budget at those places.

So, after talking to my brother, it was worked out that upon discharge, mom was going to a rehab facility as a layover to the place she will land permanently. She is better. She is bored. I asked her if she wanted me to bring her seek and find but she said no.

My uncle and I on Thursday went to the one facility and got her things. My brother was supposed to have called them, but because he was working and stuck on calls, he didn’t. So we stood there for a moment, talked to management, and handed them our stuff because they meant it when they said they were not letting anyone in. They just grabbed and dumped. They broke the back of the plug in part to her clock. Nothing some super glue couldn’t handle. She had a lot of stuff. I was concerned about her money and her tablet. Someone already walked off with the charger to the tablet. Wretched whores of Babylon. Anyway, I got the tablet. In a bag of stuff from the drawer where her money was, I didn’t see the actual DVD case where the money was always held. I just hope my uncle has it. Because they just grabbed and dumped, I went through her stuff and put them as neatly as possible into boxes. All gift boxes that I got from work that became so useful. Lol so Its as organized as it’s going to be. I want to go to my uncle’s house to to through that stuff, but social distancing. We didn’t hug and stood closer than 6 feet apart, but not too close.

As we were standing there, this guy came up and delivered my mom’s repaired glasses. I was like that was excellent timing. Thanks God!

But that was that. Out of this nightmare.

I had to snitch on my neighbor again about loud tv and music. I still settle down at 9p whether I go to sleep or not. Grandkid too. I don’t appreciate the semi driving through my wall, sounding like thunder and it’s not raining outside. I will listen to Elton John and Whitney Houston and George Michael when I want to. Punk self. And I’m always waiting for him to confront me about it so I can calmly tell him to stuff it, patchy. Lol Nah, but he can kiss my ass.

That’s about it. About to hit the basement and hang up my clothes so I can get done with all my laundry. And if I don’t find mates to any of these socks, then they are going in the trash. Lol I mean, even the socks with holes got mates. Where are the freaking socks?? Lol

This week also closes out meat week for me. I’ve had pork, chicken wings, a spicy chicken sandwich from Jack in the Box (pronounced Jackin nahBox- gotta say it fast because it’s too many syllables). I haven’t had a burger this week. I’ve been eating lamb, smoked sausages. What I miss is Jimmy John’s, and Chinese food. There is not ONE chinese food place open. I called a bunch yesterday. I got “Lee’s” voice mail. That hurt my feelings. What also hurt is knowing those business have families attached to them. God save the small businesses.

In the meantime, I’m just here. Surviving. Maybe I’ll watch movies while I clean today. It’s a thought. Only because Yvonne said “Surviving” in Shaun of The Dead. That will be the first movie I watch. Lol

Ok citizens of earth.
Make this day as great as you want it to be. Love to you all.

Kindest regards,
Sister
