non political politics in Second 1st

This is not for argument. This is not me saying anything for or against Trump. This is not political at all other than where I first gleaned information and what’s happening. I repeat this is not a personal opinion on a person. I did not pay attention… and really haven’t my whole life.... to politics.

That being said over the course of COVID-19 I’ve been watching the mayor of Nashville, Governor of TN, Governor of KY and the president. I would have done that anyway in a situation like this. Media lies.... a lot.... and I’d like to hear things first hand in order to decide for myself what portions of second hand media are true. I generally don’t care as most things don’t effect me till they happen. Like if taxes were raised.... my mortgage goes up and either way I deal with it when it comes so why waste the hour listening to the city report when I can’t do anything about the taxes being raised....

In the case of COVID .... well I have nothing better to do and if The president/governor/local officials are going to ask me to stay home I want to hear from them about plans to get us back to work or plans to make sure my bills get paid because those are the things I worry about. I’ve never in my life had something outside of myself that prevented me from working/making money, Meniere’s aside (though that’s within myself so I didn’t really count it).

To the meat of this post. I was watching Trump speak the other day (probably more than a week ago now) and he said something along the lines of a drug combination that he’s heard amazing things about. This feels super vague as he could not give numbers or test results because there has not been a test.... and there won’t be. No one else on the COVID team mentioned it.... and they won’t. It feels like just something dumb Trump said.... cause he does that. He was hired for his business ability not his politics after all. (remember I’m not political, I did not vote, but ask someone who did)

A few.... 4-5 days.... I see this post on FB from my cousin about this Quinine / Zinc combo to help kick the COVID..... If you look back over the last few weeks Rocky and I have been decently sick. He’s been to the ER and put on quarantine. His COVID test came back negative but the accuracy of the test.... and the fact that 2 weeks and 2 days and we are still mildly sick both having a pretty annoying mostly dry cough.

The president had been asked numerous times over the last 2 weeks by media why he was pushing this malaria drug...... I guess this is where it goes from happenings to political.... I do not see Trump as a smart man. He says Ï just have a feeling”.... as president I hear “I’ve got information I can’t disclose to you right now”.... it does not matter who the president is… was… I would have heard it the same way. We all know that it wasn’t too long ago he was exposed to COVID .... “negative results”.... no one on the COVID staff seems to care about social distancing.... no masks in the press conferences at all.... so I have a theory… not unlike nut jobs who think the government is behind everything.... but I’m not crazy.

I think Trump got it.... his staff suggested.... and cured it.... keep this information to yourself.... we are about to make a ton of money.... spend time (like every other country) in creating a vaccine.... put whatever they want in it as long as it does the job.... by the way if you were not aware our government used vaccines and “white medicine” to kill and/or make Native American women sterile .... and I have no doubt they will use this opportunity to do something equally malicious. Yeah, sounds nutty.... I’m sorry.....

All that.... back to that video.... Dr says “take this instead”..... well.... zinc is a known immune booster..... and neither would hurt.... and presidents combo was similar … don’t really see any harm in it..... I can’t get my hands on any of either though… so be it....

Saw another couple videos this morning.... one about a Dr in New York who has used Trumps combo and cured 1,000 patients already. Another from a Dr saying the tonic water and zinc would help. Then a third.... from a reader… that prompted this post.

In the third video is a news story basically trying to debunk the Dr from the first video. The problem is.... it doesn’t.... They show a portion of the video in which he gives what he would describe as preventative. They called him and he says “I never said it was a cure”, which he didn’t. He also called the medicine homeopathic.... which to many (my brother included) means useless medicine. He also gave a disclaimer in the video and holds up a medical article about the Dr in NY.... He was fired up about media lies and so the rest of the video was not shown in the news story. They went on to talk to another Dr for his view on the topic because they were trying to debunk the tonic water/zinc combo having beneficial effects. However, that Dr did not say it did not work. What he did say was that the best practice was to not get it at all by washing hands and social distancing. .... yes that will be true for everything..... want to survive cancer? don’t get it....he did not say Quinine/zinc wouldn’t help if you have it.... of help build your immune system to help you to not get it.......

This being said.... Rocky and I have a couple masks left from when he painted the porch.... 1 N95.... one RN95 .... we will be wearing these when we finally quit coughing. I would like to actually see what Wal-mart has on shelves because I swear I only get half my orders. Out of stock.... I set for substitutions but things are not even close sometimes.... Rocky wanted some Tampico.... which is a citrus punch not unlike Sunny D.... I had ordered it and some Sunny D because the previous week they had been out and I really wanted to get him something. Well, this week they had Sunny D but again no Tampico. I had put that we would like them to substitute and they gave him some red Hawaiian punch..... not even close. It’s great for avoiding the store and people and stuff but for actual shopping it sucks. I will keep doing it till we kick the cough .... then I will go once a week.... probably less. Honestly, I’ll probably keep doing the pick up with no subs then go into like Food Lion or Publix (a lot less people) and get the few things they don’t have.
