Day 11-test accuracy BTW in Second 1st

I spent all day yesterday just repeating a process… Wake, make tea and steam tent for 5 mins (at least), wait 10 mins after last sip of tea and take temp, crawl back in bed.... in cloths and try to sweat whatever this is out.

I’d say I plan on doing the same thing today BUT.... my nose is flowing freely meaning it’s dripping on it’s own… it’s a good sign really but it makes it really hard to sleep....

Rocky messaged me last night with his test results.... before I tell you I need to say that the 3 available tests are anywhere from 30-70% accurate. Rocky told me after he researched the accuracy. Neither one of us have ever been this kind of sick but his results were negative. They will be moving him to general population this morning.... because with 30% accuracy we are willing to risk the lives of everyone else? ..... or because with 70% we are just so sure that you don’t have it.... They hadn’t even run a flu test..... so they are going to do that today sometime.... tests are so damn precious that we are willing to check for that above all else only for it to be inaccurate.... it’s not the flu.... The only times I’ve ever had the flu I had stuff out both ends for 3 days and it was over.... I’ve been hacking since Tuesday with a fever up to 103.5.... mostly around the 101 area.....

1500+ physicians with whatever TN association they are partnered with sent out letters to every mayor in TN begging them to order shelter in place because our governor won’t.

Got a message from Jerry saying we are going back to work the 3rd..... sigh rather than the 10th..... unless the state shuts down.... which it won’t.... but we have 1373 cases as of right now… which is only 30-70% accurate anyways. I won’t be going if I’m still sick then.... I don’t know how that’s going to work but I’ve never had a “cold” with so much fever and to last soo long without me feeling better.... and I’ve never had a flu that didn’t require a bedside bucket. I’m pretty convinced we have it....
