Day one in Bittersweet

We… Did not honor quarantine protocols. haha.

Husband went to work. He came home around 1. I tried working on his birthday gift, Im not going to finish, even though its a month away. Because he wont be going into work much. We are SO fracking lucky he works at a place that he can work from home. But now i cant do his gift. Argh.

Kids ate 2.5 hundred pounds of food. Shit you not. I bought 25 lbs of apples on friday… im down to maybe 10. They ate 8 lbs of pork chops for dinner, 4 boxes rice. and 3 lbs of veggies.... Save me....

My tire picked up a slow leak or something. I had to take it to a shop to find it, Get it patched. While we were there, they noted my breaks were dead. I dont mean bad, i mean DEAD. I did drive down from Alaska. So i get it. So we had to have the front breaks fixed too. While we were waiting, i wanted lunch so we went to Crack fil a. Ate in the dining room. ( by the time i got home there was a email stating dine in is closed from now on. lucky we ate there) then we ran to hobby lobby. Boredom. I bought a few balls of yarn for projects. And some more workbooks for little girl to practice her letters. We are still having an issue. Not too worried. Shes not yet 6. But shes still not remembering what letters look like.

While i was out, the kids went for a walk and bike ride with papa and the dogs.

Came back my mom is feeling better. Like my sick last month, she got over it really fast… But her boss says that she cant come back to work for a week, of course. Shes so stressed out. My sister is hanging by her last thread at work. About to be fired. yay. Husband will be the only one working in the house. He makes good money. Not good enough to support all 14, my moms house payments and our bills. That is stressful.

Groomed my buns and shaved my german gal. Shes now in the kitchen with a sweater on. Her sweater is made from cut off pants from one of my kiddos. I cut their flannel pants into shorts and kept the legs for random lol. Turns out its perfect for a sweater for her haha. :)

I started knitting a cowl with some of my handspun. Sigh. I want to work on the blanket. :/ I have till the end of April, Maybe shit will get better? Colorado cases are spiking rapidly… so i dont know. My giant buns coming from the west coast probably wont come. :( Shes older and Colorado has a lot of cases… Sigh.
