Blarg. So I think that I’ve finally gotten my fever down to something managelable… possibly even acceptable. But I now have an incredibly productive cough and a sore throat that makes drinking anything almost impossible. Which sucks because… you know… what with the long running high fever I’m pretty dehydrated. Which may be why I am also feeling stupid lightheaded.

But this all begs the question. If tomorrow I am feeling honestly well enough to get out of bed (which has not been the case for most of my existence since Wednesday)… do I accept that I have now taken a long absence from work and go in to work regardless of how I feel? Or do I accept that just because I no longer have a fever, that doesn’t mean I am ready to be back at work? Of course, if I go with the second option… I would get my ass to a doctor. Because… while I probably should have gone to the hospital after two days of such a high fever… some things just… aren’t tenable. But being that sick for that many days… only for it to seemingly turn into an entirely different illness? Before I keep spreading sickness, I want to make sure if there is something I can do about it!
