1 week in A Day in the Life of Me

of VACATION!!!!!!
As of 5pm today, i am off for my first ever winter weeks of vacation!
It’s a weird sensation. Even weirder, was when Thursday I was in and our DM was in as well.
He had been in most of the day, was the first day he had to catch up with Boss Lady, and he was leaving around 3 or so, when he turned and came back in and followed me out back, and stopped me and shook my hand and said “thank you”. I asked what for, and he said “for doing a good job and holding down the fort while ‘Boss Lady’ was away. I kind of shrugged it off, week one wasn’t that great, and i said as much, though we cleared up on week 2, and HE said as much, so i begrudgingly took the compliment, made a couple of jokes and then as soon as he was gone, text D and told him about the shock of it.
I mean, I knew he did stuff like that with R, but she had been there and IN that position much longer. This is the first time I’ve had the responsibilities while she has been away.
Gotta do it all over again in the summer.

There was a few (rude, arrogant, argumentative) customer issues, and an issue with the woman who does the repair pickup and drop off vs our two newer girls. But all in all, nothing I couldn’t really handle, with the exception of a return issue the first Monday that she was away, but R happened to be in the mall and stopped by to say hi, and i mentioned it when she asked how the day was going, and she actually figured it out for me. Gah I miss having her there lol

Now I have a week off, and I plan on working out, and, I was thinking if there is a nice day, I might take the camera out and do some shooting. See if I can get back in the groove, and test out the new bag hubby got me for xmas!
I can’t do much else, I am broke AF. So planned vaca for the wrong week lol
