February 2, 1980. The hostages are still hostages. Jimmy Carter is president.
And I got married for the first time. Forty years ago. It lasted less than two years.
I now call it a practice run. Even though I really didn’t learn much.
No sense in doing the whole “what if?” thing. Once a person has a child that concept goes out the window. Becomes a moot point.
It got up to 77 degrees yesterday. Supposed to make it to 78 today. And then a cool-down. Mon. 61, Tue. 51, Wed. 53, and then a gradual climb back up to 73 by Saturday. Can’t complain. As long as they keep the pool at 88 degrees.
I just baked a strawberry cake. I’ve got milk chocolate frosting for it.
Anyway, I’ve got a book I need to get back to.
