Reinforcement has arrived in Testing.... testing... 1, 2, 3...

The new accountant finally showed up to work today. Technically she's the Assistant Comptroller. I'm just happy she's here! She was supposed to be here Friday, but didn't show up. Didn't show up Monday either. I was starting to think she decided not to take the job and I'm still screwed to carry this accounting department, haha

The Comptroller hadn't said anything to me about when she'd be here. That's because we don't talk. I dislike this guy so bad I've already established I don't want to talk to him, haha. He only talks to me when work is needed. Otherwise he gets the cold shoulder

Anyways, glad she's finally here and we can split some work up. I'm so overwhelmed I was going to walk out if it did happen that she didn't take the job and they weren't going to tell me until the new month end close begins

But daycare tuition is crazy, so I'm smart enough not to do that, haha. I'll save my hatred for daycare tuition for another entry

moral of the story: The high turnover rate here is because employees get overworked and burnt out. Just a matter of time before they officially lose me for that same reason (I'm already mentally checked out, haha)
