Im doing a pattern called “A study of planet earth” Its a huge hexigon shaped blanket. Although some of the projects show a stop sign and im like how?!?! lol. You missed an entire side. The stitch count has to be way off for that. Anyway i got going last night and im 1.5 skeins in. It calls for around 3K yards but im not going that big for a baby!
I know shes having a hard time. I actually picked this yarn out as soon as she told me she was pregnant. While i felt she was having a girl, i wanted my yarn to be fairly neutral. And seeing its a boy, im glad it is. Teal is my favorite baby color. Its neutral but bright and fun. And i loved the jelly bean like coloring of the yarns.
So here is day one progress.
I bought one more each of the marbled and the jelly bean yarn :) See how big it gets me. Its about 16 inches across now.
