collecting NPC's (wtf) in 1D4+1

The boys were awakened by some commotion outside and upon investigation they found that Yemmin’s house was on fire. A bucket brigade was beginning to form so William sent Davin to get Nicole from the castle. They struggled but eventually put out the fire.... then went back to bed.
Next morning they went to check the job board to find a plain brown note with the Words “Kill Yemmin”on it. They decided to go to the queen and ask her about it. She asked them about progress on the current tasks. After talking awhile it was deduced that the citizens pretty much so had a blood lust and hated Yemmin though reasons did not come up. Robin made it clear she wanted him removed as a safety to her citizens. They came up with a plan to satisfy both parties… They asked for Hals help in convincing the citizens that Yemmin died. The plan was to make it look like Yemmin was dieing in the stockades then quickly cart his body off.... All good but Hal did not have the spells he would need until the next day.
In the meantime they decided to clear the catacombs. Nearly every room was in disrepair. There was a robing room that had been pristine…
In the room they entered in was a teleportation circle. There are only 2 ways into the catacombs, the ladder that they took which is usually hidden .... and the teleportation circle that was broken .... holes in the floor below and rubble in each room. The went into the next chamber and found 3 pillars with bowls on the tops that had been toppled and broken. They moved on and did not examine these. They came across a room with 3 skeletons they killed fairly quickly… another with 2 Specters, a third with 2 Ghouls...... another room with 2 pillars with bowls. They decided to inspect them and found that one had a piece of decorative gold stamped with or carved to show a unicorns horn and the other had a small panel of wood in it was etched an oak leaf and an acorn. Nicole stole these. They moved on.... Killed a Zombie and tried to open a sarcophagus .... well slightly succeeded and Nicole and Rocky were poisoned.
Upon returning to Robin they reported on what they had seen they learned that there should have been communication stones of different colors in the bowls. Totaling in 5. They asked what color they were .... .... and it was explained to them that each was for speaking with a high priest/priestess of the given deity represented. The colors were told but not the deitys.... so there should have been a black one (for the Raven Queen-goddess of the afterlife/death), a transparent yellow one (for Pelor, The Dawn father), a transparent light blue one (for Rao, goddess of peace and reason), a gold one (for Ehlonna, goddess of the woodland) and a green one (for Obad-Hai, god of nature).
They weren’t concerned with it and went to bed.
The next morning the plan went off well and now.... now William has Yemmin locked in the basement but still hasn’t talked to him at all. smh
They decided to attempt contact with Okkar Ironeye who had left a note on the job board about needing help. They left a message for him at the Owl’s Perch where he is staying, they were told he’d stay about a week and move on. Okkar came by their business (which they changed to Ghost Busters after the catacombs) and told them about his situation.
He is a nomad Dwarf in search of a home for his people. He was investigating a hot tip about Steelhand Hall and stumbled upon The Knuckle. The Knuckle is an abandoned mine filled with the undead of dwarf kind who were over taken by the curse of Glitterdoom. The curse had made them so greedy that they became emboldened to kill each other in order to gain more riches. He offers them an even share of the loot found in The Knuckle in exchange for their help. It is a 2 week travel from Pearlmere to The Knuckle and he left them to decide on their own. He would be leaving in a week.
The party talked about their options and spent the afternoon chillin in their office.
