Off again... in blackpropaganda

but not too far - mainly travelling a round the north of England seeing friends and relatives - and then on to a hotel in the Lake District for a wedding at the weekend. It makes it so much easier that the ceremony, reception etc are all indoors at the same place - although there is a lot to be said for a traditional form - but no need to think about what to wear. I see the weather is getting a bit colder , but nothing like the snow which came last year at this time - and maybe we can do a bit of walking in the Lakes. Anyway - I love weddings because women are beautifully dressed - at least until the drink takes hold - and while it is always couched in love and devotion the undercurrent is all about sex. Gone are the days I suspect when the wedding night was the first time for the bride (if not the groom) so there are not many jokes these days from the best man about this. Indeed, I love it when a child of the couple is a bridesmaid or page boy. The couple getting married on Saturday are climbers, walkers and skiers - it will be odd to see her in a dress!!!!! Hopefully there will be tales to be told when I get back on here again
