How many pairs of converse shoes do you own?
Two. I love the silly shoes, even if they have no support.

Any other names your parents planned to give you?
I think they planned to call me Matthew if I was a boy, which is kind of odd as I have a cousin named Matthew.

Are you hot?
It’s pretty chilly outside, so I’m under a blanket. Also, my husband thinks I’m hot, so there’s that.

Where is the most beautiful place you know?
There are so many beautiful places. but the beaches in SW Florida are among the prettiest places I’ve been. Something about the white sand and the sun and the blue/green water.

Who do you work with?
I work at the reference desk, which means I am frequently the only staff person on the second floor of the library. But there are a lovely group of ladies (and one dude) on the first floor most days.

Five everyday essentials you never leave the house without?
1. iPhone
2. Wallet
3. Water bottle
4. Car keys
5. I literally can’t think of another thing.

Have you ever hit an animal with your car?
I may have run over a squirrel once or twice. It’s never intentional, I think the little buggers are suicidal.

Favourite ride at the amusement park?
All the rollercoasters, all the time!

Favourite beauty essential in your bathroom cabinet?
Rob got me some really lovely perfume for Xmas.

Do you have many followers on your Tumblr?
No Tumblr for me.

Do you tan easily?
Nope. I freckle and burn.

Are you expecting something in the mail?
Some pretty rings I bought on Wish, and a hair bow for part of a DragonCon costume!

Do you inspire others?
I don’t know. I mostly hope I don’t disappoint others.

Favourite dessert:
Creme brulee is my everything.

What do you collect?
Dogs, apparently.

Do you like cats?
I do! I miss my cat like crazy, even though she’s been gone more than two years. But clearly I’m a dog person by nature.

Are you healthy?
Not as healthy as I could be, but I feel pretty good overall.

Have you ever been out of state/province?
Oh yes. I’ve been to 31 states in the US.

Can you always blame your acts on that you were just too drunk?
Not these days, though I have certainly done dumb drunk things in the past.

Three things you try to avoid as much as possible:
Talking on the phone, having arguments with unreasonable people, and eating raw tomatoes.

How many times have you been overseas?
Bunches, though not in a very long time. I want to go to Paris for our 20th anniversary in 2023. It’s been way too long.

Do you have someone in mind when shopping for underwear?
I like buying sexy stuff, but comfort is key for everyday undies.

Number of jeans in your closet?
Probably four pairs? But only two that I wear regularly.

What accent do you have?
I don’t think I have an accent, but I can affect a southern accent on occasion. It helps me slow down, because otherwise I tend to speak fairly quickly.

Where would you like to live?
Honestly? Right where I live now, in my perfect-sized house with a view of a small lake from my back porch. I just wish someone would clean the house for me from time to time!
