Puckered Politic in Normal entries

I been following the hearing in the senate (I know, some folks want to call it other things like a trial, a witch hunt, a cake walk etc.) even to the point of watching large chunks live. One thing I’ve learned, one natural born fact, one hand-to-god-fuck-me-as-a-rodent-article-to-testify, everybody, and I mean every last motherfucker, is butt hurt. I am surprised to find myself on the low triage end of butt hurt, the get-up-and-grab-a-bone-saw level of butt hurt and not the get your affairs in order butt hurt.

I got this phone call earlier in the day; I had won 8.5 million dollars in the publishing clearing house sweepstakes. Every place I expected the scam to kick in; it didn’t. To make a long story short the upshot was buying a one-time use credit card at Walmart, scratching off number on back and reading it to dude. The folks who thought they were still getting money at that point are like the folks who think Trump is innocent or that Trump will be removed from office; big butt hurt. Like my phone scam, Trump depends on ignorance and vulnerability. The phone scam guy was subtle, all things considered.

I want to see how many Republican Senators are willing to tank whatever integrity their constituents think they have to show loyalty to this administration. I mean the republicans leant the parties name to trump in 2016, I don’t think they imagined the last four years going down the way they did. I admire loyalty, I expect it, even among, maybe especially among, conservatives, however, I don’t believe loyalty to Trump is Loyalty to the Republican party. It’s an opinion, and one no-one from the RNC will admit to a freshman senator asking for direction.

Unlike the butts whose pain is obvious I don’t claim certainty as to the guilt or innocence of Trump on the two articles. Those would not have been the most damaging, most vulgar, most offensive to sentient life in the universe things Trump has done, hell, not even in July of 2019. And he isn’t covert about shit because he thinks he is untouchable. Even if witnesses and documents are allowed, even if it pretty much looks like he used his position for personal gain, I doubt he will be removed from office. That’d be like winning Publishers clearing house.

A few years ago, at my little sister’s wedding my head abdicated from my body politic and lo, I had newly acquired migraines. They visit frequently and stay for days. They make grateful for days when my head is quiet. What I hope for, and am unlikely to get, out of all this mess, is for the Cheeto and his minions of darkness the shut up for five fucking minutes and let me think god damnit!

I do have a theory about the number of States passing recreational use and medical use marijuana in the last 3 years. Trump figures stoned socialists will forget to vote. I have a theory on why the feds call it marihuana too (oh shit! Et tu Microsoft? Word spellcheck likes that spelling.) Probably Trump spelled it that way and an assistant corrected him, as she was clearing out her desk, he dictated a memo that weed was to be spelled marihuana. The truth is probably uglier; we speak ‘merican in this country; our J’s are pronounce Jay and our H’s are pronounced Aitch. He has the vocabulary of a long-term dope smoker; use small words and frequent adjectives so you don’t get caught trying to remember a word and losing your whole train of thought. When he does try speaking off the cuff … he drifts far afield and struggles for content and words. These are just observations; I could have couched them in a kinder way if he didn’t personally strike me as an affront to sentient life.

The personal quality the bugs me the most? He’s a bully. He insults his adversaries, he denigrates nations, religions, race creed and color that are not his own (e.g. he can’t just say illegal immigrants, they have to be Mexican murderers and rapists) and he uses that he can get the media 24/7 to insult individuals (e.g. Crazy Nancy, Sleepy Joe, Lyin’ Shifty Schiff) And despite protests to the contrary he incites his followers to violence as though his words paint the next target. Now sure, that last one could have been an accident, the first several times …

I fucking hate bullies.

Ok, I’m done. I’ve written entries, but misplace them. This is poorly done but … fuck.
