D&D plans for today and other news in Second 1st

It’s already 8:15 and I’ve hardly done a thing this morning. I woke at 2, rolled over and went back to sleep thankfully. I woke at 3:30.... ugh… and got up. I started a load of laundry and got dressed and that’s all it took to feel the beginnings of a massive migraine so I went back to bed. I slept till 6. I’ve hardly done a thing since actually getting up other than take meds to combat the then sensitive to light pain.... but it’s back down to roaring in my ear so… it’s manageable.

I have a few things I’d like to do this morning before William and Nicole come.... I expect them about the same time as last week but they may come earlier (hope that they do so we can be done earlier and maybe I can work on D&D for next week). I have plans:

Being the DM I can change any of the details that have not been disclosed. Being as William is not investing real time to talk to people I’m going to mess him up.....

When we sit down I’m going to do a little recap of last week and then ask them if there is anything they would like to do before they bed down. Rocky’s elf meditates for 4 hours so that’s something I’ll have to ask … when he would do that..... If they choose not to set a watch.... I thought about Robin and her men leaving in the night.... leaving them in the woods to be attacked by Goblins.....
OR
Robin would like to know how they fight.... to formulate a proper plan in which their strengths are utilized.... if they suck than she leaves them the next night. If not than they do the whole siege on the castle....
LITTLE DO THEY KNOW
Robin gets a message via a sending spell from her brother. Her brother, the mage who enchanted the shrubs and works for Lord Surg. OH! how did that happen? Well, it was but 20 years ago that the castle had been attacked. Lord Surge and his men had killed Robin’s parents and her brother was pleading for their lives when he recalled a teleportation spell. He teleported his sister just outside the castle so that she could escape. He then convinced Surg that he killed her. That he was such a powerful wizard a quick flick of his had was all it took. Surg was frightened by the fact that this young elf would kill his own sister and saw the potential to use this guy as a weapon. For years now the elf spent his days learning more magic preparing for this day. The day he thought he knew enough to kill Surg.
HOPEFULLY
If they make it to this great battle.... if the guards don’t kill them.... if they don’t kill the mage.... if Robin doesn’t kill them.... if they don’t die by Goblins.... Then they won’t own a town. However, Robin and Halimath will be forever in debt. They will have free reign of the castle and a steady job helping clean things up, opening trade routes and stuff. Also, there is a secret basement (in my head) that Robin and Hal know about. It contains a Teleportation circle that has been broken and a dungeon .... once Catacombs for the royal family now overrun by creepy crawlys and undead.....
OVER THE 20 YEARS
Halimath has booby trapped the towers and has purchased 5 rings of teleportation. He seriously uses them to teleport from his room to his lab in the other tower (there are 2) and to the bathroom and kitchen. .... Robin is going to be soo angry when she finds out lmao

Let’s hope this round goes better than the last… I have put it a ton of work this week. So much so that with Rocky’s need for me to do thing… I haven’t worked on MTurk at all, with the auction and the pallets… and 1/2 of groceries. I need to run out this morning but it looks so cold out.... almost 9 and the frost hasn’t melted yet :(....

Rocky got a ton of crap food for him and when we got home I remembered a few things I needed for myself. Not much though. We are going to have to clean out the chest freezer and defrost it soon so that means we have to eat the stuff in it and move what we can to the upright part of the fridge.

Mom called yesterday to say that my cousin Jeremy said they were thinking about June for the memorial service for his mom. That sucks all kinds of suck.... but… I mean I’m still gonna have nearly all of March off so that’s cool. I’ll see if Rocky would want to go up anyway.... and if we did would he have enough time to take another weekend off in June. We will see....

Other than that I guess I need to get my day started… way later than usual but it’s not like anyone is waiting on me. I have cleaning to do..... dishes, laundry, maybe start logging some of the new stuff.... or renew the ones listed on FB and Letgo.... then start logging stuff.... OR work on the diamond painting until Rocky gets up.
