Turning... in Everything Else

Is it just me or is every television show turning to shit? Revolution isn’t nearly as good as last year and 97% of the time I have no clue what is going on. The Vampire Diaries made a huge mistake when they didn’t extend the Silas/Stefan story further (it could have been so much fun). The Katherine as a human bit was entertaining but then they ruined that. The Augustine Vampire thing came out of left field and they didn’t really explore it. It feels like they took a hat of ideas and pulled some out and made the season about that. None of it actually melds together.

Arrow has just about lost me. Between all these “villains” I don’t know and this island thing still dragging out, I sort of want to put an arrow through my brain when I watch it. I have pretty much given up on Scandal. I read the recaps, but I don’t want to see Olivia and Fitz getting their feels on. The thought of Sally Langston as a presidential candidate makes me want to move to Crimea. And Cyrus is just a giant douchebag. I used to have a love hate relationship with him, but now it is pretty much hate.

We already know my feelings on The Following. So the only other show I really watch is Grey’s Anatomy and I feel like they are sort of recycling stories. The whole Shane/Alex’s dad botched surgery thing was eerily reminiscent of the Izzy/Denny thing, only much bloodier. And still nobody gets booted from the program for essentially murdering a patient. I do not want to go to Seattle Grace or Grey Sloane Memorial anytime soon. And April & Jackson? Barf. Also, Meredith being pissed off at Derek for going to head up a presidential initiative is such a bitchy and selfish thing. That is not how marriage works. I am all for women doing their thing, making a name for themselves, but for to hate on your husband and make him feel like shit for an honor like that? That is so wrong. Oh and Christina & Owen? Over it. So over that dysfunctional rollercoaster. And the interns. I wish they would all leave. They are the absolute worst. I do like Jo though and I loved Heather. And I cannot even get into Callie & Arizona. So much wining.

Sigh…I am glad I have books. And guess what? I actually finished a book this month! First of the year. I am going to hold off on posting my thoughts on on this particular book until I have finished the series. I will write it up, but I feel like I need to have the entire series under my belt so I am not spoiled and so I have the complete story to see how the books set each other up.

So that is what I have for today. I almost deleted this, but I really have no reason to. It is boring drivel, but it is something and I am trying to make a better effort. It can only go up from here. Well it could go down, believe me it has happened before, but it is something for now.
