I love film festivals. I am trying to see only ONE movie a day!

Went to Las Analfabetas (the illiterate women) - about a middle aged woman who had made it through school without really BEING a student. Filmed in Chile, it shows a younger woman who has trained as a teacher coming to the woman's home and eventually breaking through to teach her to read. Her goal? A letter her father had left for her. It had become like a talisman - she cherished it without knowing what it said.

Teaching is like a little miracle!
