1.) Do you like or dislike having your picture taken?

Absolutely, completely, utterly and without exception dislike. I do not photograph well.

2.) Do you like dancing enough to go out dancing?

Nope. In any rare occasion that I dance I do so to be silly because I try to dance legitimately I will look silly anyway.

3.) Is your handwriting small or large?

My handwriting is ugly. What size it is depends on how long I've been writing, it gets progressively smaller.

4.) Do you ever take another's story and make yourself the protagonist in its retelling?

I'm not really certain if this means a story some real life person told about their own life...if so no. I give people the credit for their own stories.

5.) Do you look forward to your birthday? At what age did you cease looking forward to your birthday?

Absolutely not. I never wanted to live past 25 (I was a depressed youth) and now 30 is approaching and I have even less desire to see that.

6.) Close your eyes: how many living rooms have you memorized? Could you please call to mind at least two or three and hold them a moment?

I couldn't recall much detail but for general layouts I have about 7 or 8.

7.) Do you sometimes sing the alphabet song to remember the ordering of letters? Did you ever think "el-em-en-o" was itself a letter?

On occasion, yes. And no.

8.) Do you own, currently, any furniture you've found on the street?

No, I don't live in a big enough city for things like that to happen. If you find furniture on the street around here you absolutely shouldn't touch that shit.

9.) What items have you stolen?

When I was a kid I stole plenty of candy, an occasional toy, even the odd video game.

10.) Do you like holding hands in public with someone? Do you feel bad, sweat-palmed, letting go, like you've just let the person down by letting go of his or her hand?

I do enjoy holding hands. If I get too sweat-palmed I just say so and then switch sides (if I can) so I can use the other hand.

11.) What is the longest you've ever continuously driven?

5 or 6 hours, on my move from California to Washington.

12.) What's the longest you've ever continuously wept?

Probably after my cat died. I'm sure I got a good straight hour or so on that one.

13.) While showering, has it ever occurred to you that you wash the parts of your body in the same order each time?

I mix it up from time to time but I do always go from head to toe.

14.) Do you ever ask someone a question only hoping that it will be asked back? Are you then frustrated if that doesn't work and the talk leaps ahead to a new topic?

Yes, I've done that more than a few times. I don't get frustrated if it veers away, though, I'm easily distracted during conversation so I rarely notice.

15.) What is your favorite shape of pasta?

Spirals.

16.) Do you find you always exaggerate, at least a little, how little you've slept the prior night?

Since I'm rarely ever aware of when I finally get to sleep my reports on how little I've slept are always ballpark figures anyway.

17.) At what age did age suddenly seem not to matter so much?

In regards to what? My continued aging worries me constantly so I think it's fair to say my own age still matters quite a bit.

18.) How are you at keeping your word?

Provided nothing happens to cause me to break it, pretty good.

19.) What is the worst injury you've ever sustained at a beach? Do you like to go in? Do you like going around shirtless or going around in bathing suits, or are you secretly electric with nerves?

I once sliced open my foot on a rock on a beach side hotel, I'm counting that. Do I like to go in the water? Yeah, if the weather isn't too cold. I do not like going around shirtless. If I'm swimming I might but otherwise I keep clothed. I don't mind wearing a swimsuit but I wouldn't say I like it. Better than being nude I guess.

20.) Are you disappointed by your windshield wipers' highest speed?

No?
