Let's cook in What's Happening

Tonight’s Friendsgiving get-together will consist of a class of people who really aren’t keen to good quality foods. Because of this, either 1 of 2 things can happen when I show up with my sausage stuffing tonight.

  1. They will love the taste and flavor of my stuffing with its fresh herbs and spices.
    or
  2. They will not care for it because it isn’t the salty mess of preservatives and processed ingredients they are accustom to.

I’m also going to make a green bean casserole too , but it’s just the basic recipe from the back of the French’s Fried Onion can. This will be a salty mess of preservatives because I’m using store bought cream of mushroom soup. I am going to use frozen green beans instead of canned ones though.

No one is expecting me to make the green beans, but I thought I would bring some extra food for good measure. I don’t even really consider making a green bean casserole as cooking cause you’re just mixing a few ingredients together from a package and warming it up.

One time my friend told me she was making breakfast pizzas or something like that. I thought it sounded like a good idea. I found out later that she was just warming up a microwavable breakfast from the freezer. I told her that doesn’t count as MAKING something. She argued that it did.

I wanted to shoehorn my opinion on people who go out in public with pants that have an elastic waist band into this entry, but I have to get started cooking.

Cheers.
