Mental check list in What's Happening

I’m feeling very lethargic this week. I’m trying my best to stay fully engaged with my normal day to day stuff , but it’s very hard. The only good thing about having a week where my mood is super low is I’m bound to have an up week soon.

I thrive on my up weeks. During my down weeks I’m merely following a mental check list of tasks to try and make it look it look like I give a shit. For example:

-Mental Check List Item #1: Text all friends and ask how they are doing.
-Mental Check List Item #2: Go on Instagram and like a few people’s pics.
-Mental Check List Item #3: Smile at everyone you come across and say “Good Morning”.

I go through the motions, but I’m disconnected from all of it on a personal level. All my moves are purely robotic.

Next week or the week after it will probably be the other extreme; I will probably be too excited about everything. Haha! Am I bipolar?

I have a late Friendsgiving to go to this weekend so I need to decide what I’m going to make for that.

Last year at this event I got very drunk and was apparently mean to everyone while I was blacked-out. Even though I’ve been in control of my drinking the past couple weeks this event makes me a little nervous because my friend will be there and I know she will be pouring me shots non-stop. It will be the ultimate test.
