The Bridge and the Door - 6/7/2006

A young family, full of love, stopped by a roadside rest stop several times in, I think, 1967.  There were three children in the family, ages 4, 3, and 1-going-on-2.  The standout feature of this little park was a bridge across a dry wash.

This picture was taken in November 2003, at Peterson Park, located at the corner of US Route 42 and Tarbox Cemetery Road, approximately one mile northeast of Wilberforce OH.  In my mind's eye there are three young children playing on and around this bridge, with two proud parents nearby.

In May 1974 a tragedy occurred.
