Im going to try to finish a blanket before my husband gets back from Alaska. Honestly i have 16 days and i have NO idea if i can. considering i have a few things going on. Thursday im helping someone with an angora rescue. 2 months into a new state and im already back to helping rescues hehe. Someone posted on facebook and I jumped on it! I love helping people learn about these amazing buns and care for them well. Friday im meeting at an animal rescue. Going to help out with farm animal rescues.
Yesterday i drove out to another city an hour north. The lady gave me free alpaca wool to spin and she had alpacas goats, chickens and an emu!! The Alpacas are the best. The older girls would cuddle right up and stick their faces on your chest. I made kissy sounds and they would hum like they were giving kisses. Then you scratch their mini giraffe necks and they leaned WAY into it. Oh gosh i love them! The emu was a baby too! easy as tall as I am. She didnt like gloves, and would pluck them off your hand. And opened my Velcro on my jacket a few times. But she let us have pets and cuddles too!
I wish i had gotten photos. I stuffed my car with wool and didnt even get all she had to offer.

Friday’s rescue trip includes baby cows, alpacas and other farm animals!
No im not an animal person, not at all!

I really want an alpaca, ok at least 3 they are herd animals and need a herd. I want several! They would be too fun to have. Walk them like we did our mini pony in Ak! Friday im supposed to be taking photos of the rescue to help them out. For their webpage. And then possibly can use a mini pony for unicorn sessions. But man they are over an hour north. Not really ideal for unicorn sessions for me. I dont want to have to drive over an hour. I guess i got spoiled with her being at my house haha.

Oh well. I need to go back to my blanket. Its only aout 8 inches now. And i have a long way to go!
