Fire in Current Events

A fire was lit under my ass after Vita fell through. It didn’t fall through completely, the one in my old neighbourhood is hiring and I just emailed them my resume. Due to that falling through I went back to Indeed and I noticed that almost everybody else in my neighbourhood is suddenly hiring, urgently, for various levels of management. I applied for two of them and I wrote down a list of seven places to drop my resume off at tomorrow first thing in the morning. I refuse to feel hopeless… and sober. Fuck feeling sober right now lol.

There is an Indian Supermarket with a position for $28 an hour that I am overqualified for… it’s not crazy far so I want to call them tomorrow and see what’s up. I don’t like the distance and I don’t like that it has a deli (insert New Delhi pun here) but whatever, if I just have to hire people, make sure they get trained and take breaks and track inventory for $28 an hour I will be more than bored to do so. I won’t have to go out of my way to get ingredients to cook my Indian food at least. Ok! I’m going to overeat, drink and start Dirk Gently all over again and head out first thing tomorrow morning.
