Write about a tradition that is passed down in your family.

As simple as it is, our tradition is being active. Now, I barely recall what it feels like to move so easily.

My parents had us all move. They encouraged us to play outside.

My Dad taught me how to throw a football and baseball. He taught me how to ride a bike. He taught me how to shoot an arrow and fire a gun. He would also get me to run with him. My Mama would teach me how to play basketball. She would teach me stamina, endurance…and both taught me to be competitive.

I enjoyed running…swimming…bungee jumping…canoeing…dancing.

I miss it all.

I have dreams about it. I miss it so much.
