Foot Geometry in What's Happening

I was really convinced that my feet were super wide for the longest time, but recently I had the width of my foot measured by a professional and he said that it’s not much wider than a normal foot. He said that it falls between normal and wide.

I actually like the proportions of my feet and think they match my stature perfectly. Nothing about them looks out of place when I’m barefoot. Regardless though, their unique geometry doesn’t look flattering in most of the widely available and more popular styles of shoes; especially the more narrow ones.

About a year ago I bought a pair of Adidas shoes from the sporting goods store. I couldn’t believe how perfect they fit. Everything about them was amazing. It’s like they were tailored to my foot.

I went back recently, but the shoes were gone. They were replaced with a more modern version of their kind. The problem is: they aren’t the same fit as before. I searched all over to buy another pair of these shoes. I couldn’t find the ones I wanted in my size and color. Not even on eBay.

A couple days ago I checked on Amazon and they had them!

I thought it was too good to be true. They were only $60.00!

My new pair came in today and they are legit. I’m now faced with the decision of whether or not I should buy a bunch of them and stockpile them. Part of me thinks I should just wear the new pair for however long they last and in the mean time search for a new shoe, but these shoes just fit so perfect. Every single time I put my foot in them I acknowledge how perfect they are. I have an array of other sneakers and they fit okay, but not like these.
