Music Has Gotten Lazy. in Everything Else

I think just about every choreography video I watch on YouTube has a crotch grab. What the hell is that all about? It was one thing when it was the men, but now the women are doing it too and I just don’t get it. If they are not grabbing their crotches, then they are humping the floor or slapping their asses.

I think it is lazy and definitely unoriginal. It’s not even dirty dancing, which was basically just grinding.

To be fair, I find the lyrics for a lot of newer music to be lazy as well. When you just literally spell out the filthiness, it is just nasty. Back in the day of great writers, you really had to listen to the words and wait for that “Oh! That is dirty!” moment. With lyrics like “If you know your pussy worth a Benz truck (Rich sex) Don’t let homie fuck unless his bands up”…well…sigh. The mystery is gone, you just learn the words and you don’t even have to think. That is the fun of music, listening to the words and hearing the story. Now it’s just all pussy, dick, fuck set to choreography with crotch grabbing, and stage humping.
