Watching the snow falling, along with the temperature! Waiting for this week to pass and then it’s off to sunny California for two weeks with my sis and her family. It’s been two years since we’ve seen each other. We are getting to old for traveling to be much fun on our own, but we really need to do it this time. By chance, Mike has a flight out on business half an hour before ours leaves, so he will take us to the airport and help us get checked in, etc.
I have been making lists and gathering stuff to pack. Going to travel really light. I don’t think we will be going anywhere much–that is our hope–and won’t need to haul a lot of clothes along. Can always do laundry as often as we can get into the wash room. I’m taking quarters!
The snow is letting up…supposed to be over within the next hour. It’s cold today (below freezing) so it will take awhile for the streets to be in good shape.
Bob sees his cardiologist this afternoon. (Fingers crossed for a good report!)
Only one more thing on my calendar before we leave Monday afternoon. That is a lunch with good friends at our favorite pizza joint on Thursday.

TUESDAY
Bob’s doctor appointment: Bad news is he actually has blockages in both legs. Good news is they can fix that. More good news is it doesn’t have to be done immediately. They booked us with the proper surgeon who will do a procedure like an angioplasty on the right leg after Christmas. CALIFORNIA, HERE WE COME.
