Wits Wits Wits in Ponderings of the Universe

The Wits Reunion Show last night was everything I could possibly hope for and more.

I had forgotten the specific type of joy Wits shows cause. I was grinning and giggle pretty much all show.

I love John Moe, the host. Should probably try to listen to his other podcast but there’s just something so silly and absurd about the humor of Wits. The house band was there and wonderful as ever and the old standby voice actors! There were surprise special guests, all of whom were classics Wits guests: John Hodgman, Paul F. Tompkins, Open Mike Eagle, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett. It was a great combination of humans that had wonderful chemistry together.

They did a Murder Cat skit, Cop Squadron, WikiHow Theater, Pop Song Correspondences, a sing along and more. There was also a Jimothy!!

Afterwards, Aaron met John Moe and got an autograph. Here’s an awkward, sneaky photo of them:

John Moe said that this might become a semi-regular thing, maybe yearly. That would make me so happy!!! Itty bitty bits of Wits is better than no Wits at all!

In other news, I FINALLY finished reading my co-worker’s novel today. I’ve been trying to get through it since March, I believe. It needs to be revised. I am not an editor so there’s only so much I can help her with. I really think she would benefit from going to some sort of writing workshop to get feedback from other people who write. Also, she needs a real editor. I think her book has potential but it needs more work than she realizes.

Tomorrow is Monday. Why? Can’t we have the clocks go back an entire day? I could redo Sunday for sure.
