Forbidden Language in Poetry

There’s an unpredictable whisper
Vague and near
Crawling up a path
As it recycles the voice of the wind
When it speaks
The mystery of a forbidden language
It becomes intoxicatingly prophesied
To describe only the hidden
What is invisible
Sugar coats life
Quietly it kills
And softly heals
Humanity is consumed
With worms and
Tainted by their germs
Becoming the victims
Of their decisions
Burned at the stake
For their spiritualism
You read
And cannot decipher
What is written
You speak and
Fail to listen
You love
What you hate
You are the contradiction
Conceived by opposites
There is no tomorrow
Only the dawn of day
The past is dead
And yet,
You let it live inside your head
As the echo
Murders your mind
You fail to see your own guise
Why can’t you forget
And let everything die
Inside the void of yesterday
Instead, you create the prison
Losing the key
Because you fail to perceive
