Send In The Clowns in Hello

Well that was a fun day.

Drove mom and aunt to a few thrift stores. Got season three of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia for $5. Lunch at Red Lobster where I ate my weight in the endless shrimp deal. The honey Nashville hot is amazing. Another thrift store after and got caught up talking to a wheelchair bound guy in a Black Flag shirt. Could smell the alcohol on him from ten feet away. Had to politely exit that odd encounter after ten minutes of nodding and saying yeah and uh huh.

Then capped the afternoon seeing Joker
Yes, my mom loves the comic book movies, aunt not so much but nothing else was really playing. It was dark as hell and now I see why there is Oscar talk.

Seriously though, there were a few lines of dialogue Joaquin Pheonix gave that made my mom look at me hard a few times. A bit unsettling but hey, I know the feels. Mental illness isn’t fun.

Anyways, a nap is now in order. I’ve gotten maybe two hours of sleep in the last forty-eight. Not healthy but what is these days?
