Went to the doctor again today. Been having far too much trouble breathing. A listen to the lungs resulted in a shot of steroids, a nine day prescription for a hefty dose of Prednisone and a giant, and expensive bottle of cough syrup. Took the first doses as soon as I got home and slept six wonderful hours, laying down without coughing. My back, stomach muscles and leg muscles hurt from coughing so much. Stooopid bronchitis. Caused me to miss church again tonight. Grrrr.
While waiting for my prescriptions to be filled my mother and I went to lunch. I paid with my debit card and was double charged. I called the restaurant and got a lot of lip from the manager who passed me off to a waitress. I asked the waitress if she had any power to tend this issues. When she said no I asked for the manager again. His response to me was if I want my money back, go to my bank, get a notarized copy of the double charge, bring it in and then he'll pay me back. I wasn't thrilled with that because I don't have a car and each step of that process is more money out my pocket. Grrr.
The lunch was good. First meal I've eaten since last Tuesday. This bug has been an appetite kill. My mother enjoyed it very much. Authentic Mexican, of the same genre from where she grew up. She ate quite well. The taco she intended became a full dinner and desert, her plate cleaned.
The new Android tablet I ordered arrived yesterday. I messed with it enough today to learn to power it on/off, email, download and play a couple games. I haven't figured out facebook at all. Silly, that's the one thing I though I'd get right off.
And I slept more. A lot more. Tomorrow I get packed and tidy up the house before I leave Friday morning to stay with Ryan. I'm so looking forward to being with him. I have a lot of loving ready to put on my young man, and I know he is ready for it.
While surfing the web I came across a clothier that has my style and fabrics which appeal to me. Will start putting up some money to buy a couple outfits. I like inner-changeable piecing and timelessness. http://iveyabitz.com/
