Beautiful morning in At the foot of the hill

It’s a lovely (fallish) morning here on the Front Range. Temp was at 54 degrees when I went out for my walk down to the lake. It sounds like it might get back up near 90 later today, but for now, it’s just glorious!
Besides the lovely weather, I’m happy to report that Bob is showing some improvement today. Yesterday he had to have my help (that’s a laugh!) to get out of bed. Today he just got up–almost like normal.
Yesterday he saw his PCP (well, her PA) for follow-up after his ER visit last week. The pain meds they had given him there weren’t seeming to be helping much as far as his movement went. She prescribed muscle relaxer, cortisone, and PT. He can’t get in to PT until next week but the new meds seemed to have done a lot of good. Oh, he’s still stiff and hurting, but the improvement was noticeable this morning. It makes think a lot more pleasant around here.
Me, I had an appointment yesterday with my audiologist. Just cleaning and adjusting my hearing aids. She said everything looks good. Today it’s the dentist. Ugg.
I still haven’t got my house totally put back together since the upgrades last week. I need to do some sorting for donating and tossing. Friday is pick-up day for the DAV truck.
This week we are getting the parking lot repaved here. Guess our car will be stuck in the garage for the next couple of days, so need to get all the shopping and doctor visits done.
Who says there’s nothing to do?
