P.R.F. Prosebox 8/21/2019 in Book Six: Trying to Hold On 2019

Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening; you’re joining us here at P.R.F. Prosebox this entry being put forth on a fairly busy Wednesday, August Twenty-First, Two Thousand Nineteen.

Tomorrow is set to be an insanely busy day. My boss’ schedule is three times the size of mine and my own schedule contains 22 hearings and a trial. So… yeah. Tomorrow is going to be one busy as hell day.

Normally, this would simply make today a “light, with prep focus” day but that isn’t the case. I start my day with a request to open a Child In Need of Assistance case… because parents moved away without taking their child. These parents moved out of state and left their teenage child behind to fend for himself. Followed by a required Charging File that needs to be built. Because more witnesses is VERY GOOD for us but requires a crap-ton of more paperwork. Which I am thrilled to do here but more work. Because.... I don’t care how rural you think your community is… you can’t walk down the street in town in the middle of the day screaming at your girlfriend, knock her down, then start to strangle her. Seriously. As soon as people start hearing the yelling, you’re going to have an audience. After that, I have 5 Formal Plea forms to prepare and print out for tomorrow’s hearings. AND one of the BIG Attorneys (importance goes City to County to State to Federal… I’m county, she’s State) coming to help me out on one of my (now many) sexual assault of a Juvenile Cases. So… today should be pretty busy for me and the office.

IT also seems like a busy day for our Idiot Fucking President and his administration. I’m writing this at 9:45 Central Time and already the National and International Headlines are
- US Moves to Hold Migrant Children Indefinitely
- Trump calls Democrat Voting Jews “Disloyal”
- Trump Cancels Official Denmark Visit Amidst “Greenland is Not for Sale” Response by Frederiksen
- Trump re-tweets “King of Israel” and “Second Coming of God” Tweet About Himself from Known Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theorist
Well, that is what the National and International Headlines are. Y’know… in Media where there isn’t a focus on sucking Trump’s Orange Stubby Cheeto. Of course, there is a Media Community that actively tries to jerk off the President… and what are THEIR headlines for today?
“Fed-up Portland residents say liberal policies allow addiction, mental illness to spur homeless crisis”
“Biden gets major fact wrong about King, Kennedy assassinations”
“Democrat control of cities has led to ‘socialist nightmare’“
“Closing the Loopholes! Trump administration moves to scrap limits on detention of migrant families”

So… of the 4 National/International Headlines… Fox News only has ONE in common… and their naked bias is on full display. Instead of “Us Moves to Hold Migrant Children Indefinitely” which is the laymen speak result of their motion; Fox News paints it as “Closing Legal Loopholes”. Not to mention the aggressive, inflammatory rhetoric about “liberal policies” and “socialist nightmare”. We have a President that re-tweeted, thus officially endorsing, a Conspiracy Theorist that called Trump “King of Israel” and “The Second Coming of God”… but the Evangelical Fox News Viewers are only going to hear about the dangers of Socialism, Liberalism, and Democrats. THIS friends is how the country has become the divisive cesspool of ignorance and violence. Because the millions of people that exclusively get their news from Fox? Or Breitbart? Or StormFront? ALL they get is rhetoric stating “Trump is good, Trump is God, Liberals are Dangerous and Violent.” If we can’t reclaim the soul of this country from Fox News; we won’t just see the Trump Era continue for another 4 years… we’ll see the Trump Era (in its way) continue for the next 4 Decades.
