Robocop - the remix - movie review in keeping it postive

I have to say I never saw the original from beginning to end. I saw snippets and snippets of the sequels, but never the complete first movie... so this was interesting with nothing to compare it to.

I'm pretty much off comic book movies, but we'd seen two or three other movies at that movie house, and it was coming on soon... so we went.

Some interesting themes: what makes a man a man, man vs. machine, media manipulation/frenzy, globalization, USA as world policeman, the drone attacks, corporate greed, when is lying a good thing?

It seems to have been written/updated by the same team that made the original. Fascinating.

It needs the big screen for all the effects, but pay full price??? Probably not.
