Increased shortness of breath. in My this and that

I wish I could google what’s wrong with me.
It all started with my lung condition…
And then a few weeks ago I began to notice increased shortness of breath…
I’ve had this before. In October of 2015 I noticed increased shortness of breath and tried to see my doctor who ended up having retired on me, so I had to find a new doctor, who in turn recommended me to a specialist who I by January, who didn’t fully grasp the situation, and ended up being hospitalized in April of 2016 because my breathing was so bad I couldn’t go to work, could barely even shower.
So when I recently discovered I was struggling to breathe normally (my normal) in routine activities like stairs and walking further distances, I decided to call my specialist immediately.
After a week I was in her office. HURRAY! I’d get answers fast and not have to deal with the downward decline for long. She took this seriously, ran a test, scheduled me for a couple more tests.
Then I got the flu… and I mean, I’m DOWN. I feel like it increased that breathlessness by a lot, but it’s happening too fast.
And I wish I could just google if my body just needs a few days to recover from the flu and then it will be back to that regular shortness of breath I was experiencing before the flu… or what if the flu somehow expedited everything?
What if the flu has nothing to do with it?
There’s nothing to google… I just have to wait for the results of the tests. 2-5 weeks. And also, then, the results of more tests which I should hopefully get done in about 4 weeks…
I’m SO thankful my doctor is looking into things… I’m just impatient… and it sucks sitting at your desk at work, breathing more than normal because I’m tired from just sitting here. Body, stop being so ridiculous.
