I think Operation Bed by 10 has worked! I’ve been up for more than an hour though… Geez.

OK, 6:16 am wash face and then change to work out clothes.
6:28 am I’m staggering. 1 French lesson.
7:12 am I had to cut short the work-out because I didn’t have much energy and was feeling weird in my stomach. Tomorrow I will try eating lightly and then wait 30 minutes before I head out.
12:05 pm Been an okay morning. Quite focused.

My thing is that I tend to stagger whenever there’s something I HAVE to do which I DON’T want to do (usually when it comes to cleaning or some social things like email), then I stagger around, not quite doing the unpleasant thing NOR doing anything else for feeling guilty of not doing the unpleasant thing. Ugh.

I should try this, maybe: Whenever I’m staggering, decide quickly what I’m going to do for the next 10 minutes and just focus on that thing alone.
12:35 PM Just write this darn email! 10 minutes!
12:47 PM funny, I didn’t write that email yet.

Why, oh why did I volunteer for this?
-Fix my syllabus
-Translation project
-Create a job posting

The Catechnism of the Catholic Church has an awesome summary of the moral teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas.
