If I want it, I should go ahead and work for it. I’m talking about law school application.

That gate is too loud and the ceiling too thin and the AC makes a ton of noise. Think I’ll bring this up.

Had 8.5 hours of sleep. Please be productive today, please.

10:24 am get breakfast.
10:48 am well let’s focus on getting some stuffs done now shall we?
11:08 am, alright I guess I could go shower.

I probably should spend today cleaning my house. It’s such a mess right now and I moved in three weeks ago. So much to do that takes time and then so little time.

11:33 am no idea why but I haven’t showered yet. Must do this.
12:00 pm. Start pomodoro and clean my house. This is so disgusting.

2:02 pm it’s good progress according to my standard. Gotta wonder where time goes if I could do so much in 2 hours.

In the Netgear box i have: a cable whose use i dont know of, hair accessories I don’t ever use, command strips, my sewing kit, a Samsung charger, a box of rosaries, a postcard, a pencil sharpener.

In my suitcase I have: backbrace, ulock, s8 box, a $1 water bottle, a flower vase, 2 lamps, my broken phone, a small speaker, shower caddy, some giant plastic bags.

In the HEB bag I have: my bike cover, some large Ziploc bags, my graduation cap, my s8 box is actually here.

Three hours’ worth work. Very nice! I’m proud of me. My house is cleaned!

So now here’s my work:
-Teaching prep
-Going through my to-do list (basically replying to emails. I’m so bad)
-Write the book reviews
-Preparing for the first week of teaching
(-Write law school PS
-Write Nature paper
-I might be saving comps reading for next semester. I’ve signed up for too much already)

This afternoon, I also intend to go to confession and mass, also pick up my diploma and return library books. Maybe tomorrow I’ll study at the library, and get my new and shiny faculty ID (need to wear a nice shirt or something).

I should stop watching or reading things while eating my meal. It will only give me stomachache.

Going to church plus confession didn’t happen because I was talking to my old colleagues and supervisor at the library. I’m sad to leave them. They’re so so nice. It was wonderful to know so many nice people.

Alright let’s get down to business:
4:59 PM 15 minutes teaching prep.

Sometimes I probably just need to get into deep work mode. Deep work got me done with cleaning my apartment today. I think I’ll do just that. Tonight, I’ll focus on preparing for the first week of class, making use of:
-Videos about Plato’s Gorgias
-Dr. T’s handouts.
Also, maybe finish at least one translation project.

11:45 PM I did finish one translation project. Boring as heck. Maybe do a little more?
12:18 AM Finished arms exercise. Debating about whether I should sleep or work some more?

Maybe my thing is I just don’t start things?

12:53 AM Go look for the stack of papers Dr. T gave me.
2:00 AM I think I’m content. Today has been a good day. I think fasting from entertainment has been good to me.
