more mind games in General musings

Didn't hear from him til the end of the day and he was mopy picking on my husband and my life and oh -so -casually throwing in that he had to go see "the ex " tonight as she is having some trouble and he is worried about her. Not entirely sure if that was "bait " or an attempt to hurt me or throw me off balance. I just casually asked how far he had to drive and he said "about 30 miles. Do you sound concerned?" And I said concerned?? Not at all...refusing to rise to it...
