The funny thing in Bittersweet

The funny thing about heat.
When we have these weeks and weeks of drought and no rain. Its 100 degrees and you are wondering what it was ever like to be cold.
But then in winter. we have endless days of 30 below zero, cant ever warm out. despite the heater on 80 and 3 blankets. You wonder what it was like to be warm.
When Alaska “kicks in” and we get 30 straight days of rain ( hello august) we wonder what the sun ever looked like.

The funny thing about our weather. Is it lasts! We dont have that go inside and wait 5 minute joke. We have rain for days, sun for days, winter for months. Wind all the time lol.

Oh and my husband finally convinced me to go swimming. Me and the kids have swimmers itch. Screw the lakes.
